Zero twist is a real manufacturing difference, not a marketing phrase. In a conventional towel, the cotton yarn is twisted tightly to give it strength, but that twist also compacts the fibers and closes off the surface. Zero twist yarn is spun with little to no twist at all, so the fibers stay open, lofty, and free.
