What is sweep? Sweep is the circumference of the bottom hem of the patient gown. The sweep is measured by laying the article of clothing flat, with the seam matched up, and measuring end to end. Then multiply the number by two to get the sweep measurement. Generally the larger the sweep the larger gown.

I usually order the blue economy gowns from this company, sometimes the angle tie back. Those are both very good gowns, but I needed to offer a larger gown for some of my patients.
These gowns are very good also.
